"Im on the heavy side so it took me 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete, i found some parts to be quite hard going and steep at times. But my friends found it easier."
John Casey
"We enjoyed a fabulous hike up Djouce Mt last week, mud week. It was very windy from about 1.5k to the top. Beautiful scenery, the hike is well sign posted and the path surface has been improved greatly. We had our dog with us. We started at Ballinastoe woods, hike was 10k up and back. Parked on the road beside car park as the car park was full due to filming in the area. We would highly recommend this walk, views are amazing. Hiking footwear is required and windproof/waterproof jacket for the cold..... near the top of Djouce."

"One of my favourite hikes I discovered this during Covid and I go sometimes on mid week as it is easier to get parking as the road too busy. The boardwalk is handy and the path is currently being done up by volunteers as indicated by the signs."
