Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views from Djouce Mountain's summit, often describing them as some of the best in Wicklow. The well-maintained trails, including log boardwalks, make the hike accessible for various fitness levels. However, many caution about the intense and unpredictable wind at the top, advising visitors to be well-prepared with extra layers.

"Great walk, although make sure you're prepared if the weather is not good (see photos). I walked from J B Malone car park and was a total of 1100 feet ascent and 2 hours at a moderate pace. If you start from the same place as me you will need to divert off the board walk just before the summit, make sure you have a map"

John Cooper

"Beautiful views, good hiking paths but note it can be very windy on the way to the top."

Tomas Bilza

"An amazing hike in the Wicklow Mountains area! It is very windy and cloudy at the top, but offers some of the best views! The entire trail is paved with logs and easy to walk with some decent hiking boots. Go up to the parking lot with the coffee shop and walk up using Google Maps. The hike takes roughly 3.5 hours from start to summit to the start again. On a side note, I have immense respect for the Irish mountain climbers who laid this path for the rest of us."
