Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail for its serene atmosphere and unique bogland scenery, especially the accessible boardwalk. While the beach walk offers a different texture, it's tide-dependent and can be rocky. It's a well-preserved spot perfect for a peaceful escape into nature.
"We enjoyed this lovely quiet location at early evening (April).. short board walk (1km) across a peat moor and recommended return along the beach (tide dependent) of further 1km. Parking for 10 or so vehicles with 2 oversize parking spaces."
I Stari
"Lovely little walk, particularly on the board walk itself. The board walk would be wheelchair and buggy friendly. The second half of the walk is along a stone and rocky shoreline as well as sea weed and plenty of shells. There is a number of signs telling you about the terrain of the trail and of the wildlife too. It's a nice place and well worth a look at, there's a decent amount of parking too."

"Lovely walk through the bogs and beach, perfect to get away from everything and enjoy the wilderness of the area. Very well preserved boardwalk, the signs offer information about the plants and animals in the area."
