"We had a very pleasant afternoon here. Came over on the car ferry from Passage which I'd recommend. A shirt drive and we were in Fota.
The gardens are beautiful, more extensive than I'd remembered. I love the hideaway Fern area which wouldn't be out of place in the Hobbit!

We didn't do ghe tour but had lunch in the cafe.
I found the menu a bit basic and below the standard of the rest of the place. Coffee and cake lovely.id go elsewhere for lunch or bring a picnic next time.

"We had our wedding ceremony in the grounds in August and it was absolutely incredible. Catherine and the team at Fota House helped us have a wedding that exceeded our expectations. From the support in our ideas for the ceremony, being in constant communication running up to the day, helping set up on the day and being on hand to guide our guests to their seats, I have only positive things to say about the team - thank you"
