"The Ameri Historical House in Kashan is one of the largest and most beautiful historical houses in Iran, dating back to the Zand dynasty. The house was originally built by Ebrahim Khan Kalantar, a statesman of Kashan. It was later expanded and completed during the Qajar period, especially during the reign of Saham al-Saltaneh Ameri. Saham al-Saltaneh Ameri was a wealthy merchant and influential person in the region who was known as one of the rulers of Kashan at that time.
The Ameri House, with an area of over 9,500 square meters, consists of 85 rooms and 7 courtyards. The house is built in the traditional Iranian architectural style and has various sections such as central courtyards, beautiful verandas, a tall windbreak, a pond, seven-door royal residences, a cellar, private baths, and underground passages. The interior decorations of the house include delicate stucco moldings, artistic mirror work, woodcarvings, and murals that give this building a special look."
