What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tumimperas Waterfall is a beautiful, lesser-known gem with a stunning cascade and tranquil pond, offering a serene escape. However, visitors note that facilities are run-down and there are concerns about water quality due to village wastewater. Despite these drawbacks, its natural beauty and lack of entrance fee make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking a peaceful natural spot.
"A hidden gem around Tomohon city. No entrance fee so I am not sure why only few people visit this place. Probably because it's lesser known compared to another famous waterfall or maybe because the facilities lack proper maintenances. The waterfall could only be accessed through a single stairway from the upper village. It will take around 5-10 minutes walk the stairs, so prepare your stamina. It was a serene and tranquil atmosphere once you reach the waterfall and the pond. Highly recommended for visit"

"Won't be difficult to get to this place but people often got confused when they arrive here since the entrance is right in the middle of a huge public cemetery. Yes, you are in the right place. There are two paths to get to the bottom of where the waterfall is. The first path is visible from the parking entrance. When I came here, the first path got small landslide in the way which covered some parts of the stairs. The second path is just at the end of the asphalt road. It will get you to the top of the waterfall, that is a river, and you can get down to the bottom of it by stairs. The waterfall is high enough to make the water turns into a much smaller droplet which will get you wet anywhere you are standing at the bottom."

"This is probably one of the best waterfalls in north sulawesi because it has water all year around and have a decent access although I'm not gonna said it was easy to reach this area from the parking lot. This waterfall is located in Pinaras, Tomohon. You have to use private transportation if you want to come. There was no charge when I went there and I had to walk 500 meter from the parking lot. Don't worry about getting muddy because the road is a concrete pavement. After the 500 m descend there it is the waterfall. You can take a lot of beautiful photos as much as you want."
