"It took us about 2 hours from our hotel in Kaliurang, plus another 15 minutes by Jeep through bumpy terrain—a fun little adventure on its own. The view from the cliff is absolutely stunning. The waves were strong, and the sea spray could get intense, so don’t expect to stay dry—bring spare clothes or footwear.
The gondola is hand-powered, but the team running it takes safety seriously and guides everyone carefully. Even our 70-year-old parent, who didn’t plan to cross, ended up giving it a go. Some of us are scared of heights, but we all enjoyed the ride—it’s a one-of-a-kind experience.
One gondola can fit up to 3 people (2 adults and 1 kid), but it can feel a bit tight—especially for the person sitting at the back.
Once across, you can explore freely, but stay cautious—you’re standing on a cliff above rough waters. The 360 views are incredible. Easily one of the most unforgettable parts of our Jogja trip."

We were skeptical if we really need to visit the beach but turns out it was so worth it! The jeep ride was rough but once we were at the beach, the view was really nice. Watching the waves was also really calming.
We hired a jeep that costs 350k for 5 people. Crossing the bridge costs 100k per person for locals, but you should definitely go for it. Both the jeep rental and bridge ticket includes a guide who can help with taking pictures. No additional fee for the guide but we gave them a tip at the end :)"
