What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Petitenget Beach is appreciated for its stunning sunsets and vibrant late-afternoon atmosphere, offering a relaxed vibe with accessible beachfront dining and local snacks. While not a pristine white-sand beach, its vastness and proximity to Seminyak make it a convenient spot for sunset viewing and beach walks. Some visitors note a river smell and strong waves, suggesting it's better for surfing than swimming.
"I really enjoyed this beach. It's not a white sanded beach with crystal blue water, but during the hotter hours of the day, it's a great place to relax and have a beer. As many beaches in Asia, most tend to avoid the heat during the hottest hours of the day, so it became more vibrant late afternoon and as i was making my photos, enjoyed talking to the locals.
There are small, basic restaurants on the parking lot and a beach club style restaurant directly on the beach.
It's conveniently located close to the city center and pretty much in walking distance from anywhere in Seminyak."

"Vast beach, was surprised that there weren't as many people here as I thought it would be. Maybe was it because swimming was prohibited that morning? I don't know, but it made the beach walk very relaxing!
Don't stay at the entrance though. It's very dirty. Once you walk either to the left or right it gets way better."
