Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the National Gallery Indonesia for its engaging art, interactive activities, and family-friendly events like the KidsBiennale. The helpful guides and the continuous rotation of exhibits are also highlighted as positives. However, some find the requirement to fill out a data form before purchasing tickets inconvenient, and the gallery, while well-maintained, is noted as not being excessively large.
"We had such a wonderful time visiting the National Gallery with my little art enthusiast! We purposely went during the school holiday to catch the KidsBiennale event, and it was absolutely worth it. The gallery was filled with colorful, imaginative, and inspiring artworks created by children — a refreshing and heartwarming experience for both kids and adults.
The atmosphere was vibrant, interactive, and full of creative energy. My child loved exploring each corner, asking questions, and even trying out some of the art activities. It was more than just an exhibition; it was a space that encouraged young minds to express themselves and appreciate the beauty of art.
Hope to see more events like this in the future! 🌟"

"Great museum with a reasonable price. Cool art to see and there is also interactive things to do. Unfortunately it wasn't that big even tho it's in two buildings. Can highly recommend everyone to come if you don't have much time but still be a art fan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Before buying ticket; you need to input your data; like: nationality, age, etc. I understand that they need customer data for their marketing purpose. But, it doesn't feel convenient for customers to fill the form in every visit.
The guide said this place continuously change its gallery, which I think it's interesting. Since it keeps the place fresh and interesting. I like that there are more activities than just seeing the art; like: coloring the picture, stamp collecting and documentary watching. There's also slime art and painting, but I didn't try them. Maybe they're more like class? I'm not sure....
The guide here are very helpful. They explain the art and the concept behind it. There are also explanation on the wall. Since it's a gallery, the explanation is poetic.
There were quite many people visit the place, but you can still enjoy the art and take pictures at ease
They provide prayer room and toilet. I think prayer room is standard, but I didn't go to the toilet.
Overall, I think it was a great experience."
