What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Malino Pine Forest is cherished by locals for its cool, misty highland atmosphere and as a family-friendly picnic spot. While some visitors note it could be better maintained and offers limited paid activities, the natural beauty, fresh air, and affordable entry make it a refreshing escape. The abundance of food stalls adds to the local charm.
"A local place that western people would consider old, not well maintained and small. You have to pay an entrance fee for basically nothing. It's just a place where you can sit with a few things to do for which you have to pay separately. Like a short flying fox route, a short round trip on a horse back (IDR 25.000) and there's even a small playground with old swings and more which costs IDR 5000.
But if locals are enthusiastic about it, you realise there's not much to do in the surroundings. We enjoyed the many food options across the park."
