What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Loka Jala Crana Naval Museum for its extensive historical collections and impressive naval exhibits, offering a clean and informative experience. While some find the lack of consistent air conditioning and covered walkways inconvenient, the educational value and unique displays, including the Planetarium, make it a highly recommended destination for history buffs and families alike.
"Good museum with lot's of history and English information, with AC, clean and comfortable gallery. Lot's of interesting collections to see in the gallery. I haven't got the chance to visit 2 other buildings (the cinema and ship building) because it's raining. I hope the management will build pathway with canopies, connecting 1 building to the other so people can move around even if it's raining (there's water poodles everywhere as the rain was intense during my visit, my feet were soaking wet as i walked in the parking lot). Exit sign was inaccurate as the designated exit gate in the back of the property was closed and i ended up driving around just to get out. Plus the QRIS barcode wasn't available during my visit on December 28, 2024 (you'll have to do Bank transfer, which is odd for public facilities, how would you know it's the legitimate bank account??) It's still a good place to visit and learn some history"

"Very recommended to visit with students. I went there with my 9 college mates. The navy staff might ask you the reason to visit there if u're in group. They'll guide u to look around the place, explain, and show the Planetarium as well. It doesn't cost that much."
