The dramatic storytelling and the mesmerizing vocal chanting are highlights, with the fire dance finale leaving a lasting impression. "Very colourful and entertaining show, the costumes and performers are great to watch. The story is explained in the pamphlet, however it was just fun to watch along and see what character would pop out next 😅
The show started at 7.30pm (Thurs) and went for an hour. Tickets can be paid for at entry by card, but the machine was broken when we went so we had to quickly find a nearby ATM. There is a small stand in the venue selling drinks and snacks."
Marcus
"Amazing locally performed traditional kecak Dance about the Ramayana. The leaflet you get on entry will allow you to gain an understanding of the performance. So please read it or you will not enjoy it fully. This show is performed at 7.00pm on Thursday and Sunday.
Fully recommend this to immerse yourself into the baliense traditional and gain a deeper insight into the values and understanding of Hindu Baliense people.
Recommend booking your tickets online so you don't need to wait and get there 30 minutes before to ensure you get a great seat! The costumes, dance and facial expressions are amazing!"

"Really enjoyed this experience. Very cultural. This was at the Ubud Palace. You can see their traditional dance every Thursday and Sunday. I paid equivalent of £4.50 which I thought was very reasonable. Must do if visiting Ubud."
