What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jalan Kayu Aya is celebrated as a vibrant culinary destination with a wide array of dining options, from authentic local warungs to health-focused eateries. Visitors praise the lively atmosphere, diverse menus, and the availability of nutritious meals with detailed macro information. However, some diners have noted that takeaway dishes may not always match the visual appeal or taste of the menu photos, and prices can be higher than traditional local spots.
"This my experience ordering the Fusion Noodle and Shredded Chicken from this place. Honestly, it was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money. What I received looked nothing like the beautiful, well-presented dishes shown in the photos on the menu.
First of all, both the noodles and the chicken were thrown into the same box — no care in presentation or separation. It looked more like leftovers than a fresh meal. The noodles, which are supposed to be a “veggie-loaded base” with stir-fried egg and vibrant vegetables, were bland and almost entirely missing the veggies. I saw a few wilted greens, but nothing remotely close to what’s pictured. The portion was also noticeably smaller.
As for the shredded chicken , again, the taste didn’t match the description. It was dry, lacked the “juicy” quality they advertise, and had none of the garnish or lime shown in the photo. It seemed like everything had just been scooped into a box last minute without care or attention to detail.
This was my first and definitely my last time ordering here. If you’re considering trying this place based on the menu photos, don’t be fooled. The actual food doesn’t even come close. Hugely disappointed."

"Super worth it! @eatstreet.bali is a hidden gem in Canggu — a healthy warung that totally stole my heart (and appetite)!
I had one of their hearty mixed plates —
🍚 Brown rice
🍗 Tender chicken with sesame
🥚 Soft-boiled eggs
🥦 Broccoli
🌱 Stir-fried veggies
🍥 Crispy tofu
🍛 Spicy tempeh
Everything was packed with flavor and super nourishing!
Also tried their famous 🌽 corn fritters — crunchy, golden, and addictive!
And of course, had to go for the fresh 🥥 coconut served cold — soooo refreshing!
The vibe? ✨ Cozy, clean, and calming — perfect for chilling after a beach stroll or working remote. Bonus: the food comes looking Instagram-ready every time 📸
If you’re in Canggu, don’t miss this place!
Healthy food can be this good!
Go check out @eatstreet.bali and treat your body right"
