What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Hawai Waterpark Malang for its clean facilities, variety of rides, and tropical atmosphere, especially highlighting the Tsunami Pool and thrilling slides. However, some note that certain rides may close earlier than the park's official closing time and that extra charges for amenities like floaties can be a drawback.
"Had an amazing time at Hawai Waterpark Malang! The place is super clean, well-organized, and perfect for both kids and adults. The wave pool (Waikiki Beach) was a big hit, and the slides were so much fun—especially Waimea Extreme for the thrill-seekers!
There are plenty of food options, lots of shaded areas to relax, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The tropical vibes and music really make it feel like a little Hawaiian escape in the middle of Malang.
Highly recommend getting access to the VIP toilet facilities—they’re more spacious, clean, and come with hot showers, which is perfect after a long day in the water. Totally worth the extra cost for comfort and convenience!
Definitely recommend this place for a fun, refreshing day out with family or friends!"

"Very cool slides, especially also for older kids (10+). Tsunami was pretty spectacular too. Only negative point is that all the slides/water activities are already closed at 16h, so the closing time of 17h is quite misleading. This was a pity, since we arrived halfway afternoon and had anticipated several hours of fun, but it was reduced with an hour."

"Hawai Waterpark wasn’t great. A lot of the rides were either boring, outdated, or shut down. You even have to pay extra for a bracelet just to use the floaties, which felt unnecessary. The only parts that were actually fun were the tsunami pool and the tsunami river — those were really good. Other than that, it's pretty underwhelming."

Arriving early or planning your visit around the scheduled wave times can help you enjoy it with fewer people. The sheer scale and power of the waves make it a memorable experience, often highlighted in visitor videos and reviews.
