Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the tranquil pine forest setting and the warm, relaxing geothermal waters, offering a peaceful escape from the city. However, some find the facilities could be better maintained, and the multiple entrance fees can add up, especially for foreigners.

"Disappointed by that place. Expensive price for foreigner without Kitas: 150 000Rp/person + parking fee + hotspring entrance fee . Place is dirty, noisy and without charm. Best things are pine tree that's all"

Matt RL

"Good place to chilex your body with a real sulfur hot spring water. Good place to get away from the city and just enjoy the quitness. The tub is quiet clean and there are clean shower in every pool. The only thing is lack of information and direction. You need to pay the entrance fees twice if you are coming down from Gunung Pancar. There are plenty of small warung near the entrance. The parking lot has uneven and rough surface although the parking lot is quite big. Lots of steep stairs to go to the pool. If you bringing a wheelchair or a stroller just take the ramp on the right side once you are in the entrance area off of the parking lot. It has warung in the pool area too."

"It is a public hot spring like no other. Usually, the hot water comes with the uniqe smell of sulfur, but that is not the case for this place.

There are 2 types of pool that can be used, for private/family use and public use.

There are 5 "ponds" in the family/private area. Each of them wilk fit for 3 adult size person, up to 5 if you comfortable with a spacious-skin-to-skin condition.

On the other hand, the public area have 3 type of pool, warm, colder and cold.

This facility do not exactly provide "hot" springs. It is suffice to say, that it provide "warm" springs.

The place itself is not that hard to reach from the Outer-Ringroad Highway, so if you are a super-busy worker with almost no relaxation time (even in weekend), this place will be nice to be your a super-short getaway.

If you leave your offfice from Jakarta's downtown at, let say, 12 pm, i believe you will got 1 hour of bath time and still able to return to your office at 4pm.

Do not worry with the sun. Gunung Pancar is full of pine trees. After you get there, It is not a surprise if you think the place is clody and there is a rain coming, because the trees covers the area nicely.

With 1.5 hour ride, you will get a significantly different ambiance from Jakarta. The change from high building and hot weather, to wall.of pines and grizzly air."
