"Recommended! Its sooooo beautiful, can feel the natural vibration, the combination of water, air, and side scape!

"I came by on a weekday afternoon and there was hardly anyone here. Entrance fee is 20K. Climbing down is relatively straightforward, and as you go down, you can catch glimpses of the waterfall. You'll be able to see why it's called the rainbow waterfall, simply because of how the light hits the waterfall at an angle. Climbing back up was quite exhausting though, so I would recommend ensuring you get hydrated. If you are lucky, you may catch a family of monkeys near the entrance."

The Science Behind the Rainbow
For the rainbow to be visible, specific conditions are needed: direct sunlight and a significant amount of mist or spray from the waterfall. The angle at which the sun hits the mist is crucial. This is why visiting in the afternoon, when the sun is at a lower angle, often yields the best results.
While the rainbow is the main draw, the sheer volume of water and the surrounding lush vegetation contribute to the waterfall's overall beauty and the refreshing atmosphere. The sound of the cascading water and the cool mist create an immersive natural experience.
Navigating the Stairs and Terrain
It's essential to wear appropriate footwear with good grip. The stairs can become slippery, particularly if they are wet. Taking your time, especially on the descent, is advisable to avoid any missteps. Staying hydrated is also paramount, as the physical exertion can be significant, particularly on a hot day.
Despite the physical challenge, the views and the experience at the bottom are often described as rewarding. The path itself offers glimpses of the waterfall as you descend, building anticipation for the main spectacle.
Local Flavors and Amenities
These stalls provide a taste of local convenience, allowing visitors to grab refreshments without needing to leave the site. While not a fine-dining experience, they offer practical options for a day trip.
Basic toilet facilities are also available, ensuring a more comfortable experience for visitors. These amenities contribute to the overall accessibility and ease of enjoying the natural beauty of the waterfall.
