Reviews Summary

Blue Point Beach is celebrated for its dramatic cliffside access, incredible sunset views, and vibrant surf scene. Visitors love the unique atmosphere and the spectacle of surfers tackling the waves. However, some find the parking chaotic and the beach can get crowded, with occasional concerns about cleanliness and the presence of monkeys.

"🌅 Magical Sunset at Blue Point Beach!
Blue Point Beach is one of those places that feels like a hidden gem, even though it’s well known. Tucked beneath dramatic cliffs and accessed through a cave like path, the beach opens up to stunning ocean views and the perfect spot to chill, surf, or just take in the atmosphere.

But the real showstopper? The sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while the sky turns orange over the crashing waves was absolutely unforgettable. The beach bars up top are the ideal spot to enjoy it with a cold drink in hand.

🛵 One small downside: the parking situation isn’t great, tight spaces and a bit chaotic, especially 1 hour before sunset. But honestly, it’s a small trade off for the experience you get once you’re down at the beach. Just come a bit early and be patient with the parking.

Highly recommend this spot for sunset lovers and ocean chasers!"

Mike Rbeck

"could get crowded, especially by surfers. went there before noon when the tide was still high.

if you're wondering, there is a nice place where you can eat or drink up from here through the stairs."

Chloe Cañete

"Blue Point Beach was one of the more scenic beaches that we visited in the Uluwatu area. Like Padang Padang and Bingin, it requires a bit of a hike down a staircase that winds through shops and restaurants. At the bottom, you emerge into a stunning cove surrounded by cliffs, which makes for fantastic photos.

There isn’t much space to lay out or set your things down near the entrance, but if you follow the wall around to the right, you’ll find a more secluded spot with a quieter stretch of beach (but note this area may only be accessible at low tide)."
