My husband and I stumbled upon Angel Island Eco Resort while looking for a place to stay near Labuan Bajo for a few unplanned on our honeymoon. I cannot imagine our trip without going here!! It is simply a dream. Our cabin was huge, felt luxurious and had lots
of appreciated touches like a water cooler, container to bring water to the beach, beach bag to use, citronella coils for the mosquitos, and biscuits (likely a British touch from the owner, who, contrary to a prior review, hasn’t sold). The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful we felt absolutely spoiled (special thanks to Cristo, Ofan, Ano and Myo - sorry about my spelling). The included breakfast has a number of options and is a very generous portion. But the real treat is the coral reef right outside your door. We saw baby sharks, sea horses, a turtle, and so many different fish. Our whole time there was amazing. Considering the experience you get, this place is extremely affordable. Thank you, Angel Island Eco Resort."
