What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the An-Nur Great Mosque for its impressive size, beauty, and cleanliness. The spacious prayer hall and courtyard are highlighted as particularly enjoyable features. While generally well-maintained, some note accessibility limitations to the upper prayer floors.
"Big and beautiful mosque in the city center of Pekanbaru, capital of Riau province.
It has vast courtyard with many functional rooms and meeting spaces on the first floor and the praying space on the second floor.
The courtyard has big umbrellas as well, somehow remind me of Nabawi mosque in Madinah.
The praying room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The carpet is also clean. At the ladies area, there are clean praying attires or Mukena that we can use.
The ablution room is also big and clean. Love it!
The parking lot is also spacious.
At the entrance I saw ramps for ♿️. But to go up to the praying area on the second floor, I only see the stairs. Maybe they have dedicated room for those using wheelchairs on the first floor."
