The ashram and climbing the peak is a never missed spot for trekking lovers. The awesome 360° view from the peak makes the long walk through the forest worth.
The Jain caves in addition is a marvel that completes the tour."

"This ancient Murugan Temple is believed to be over 1,200 years old. The karpagraham (sanctum sanctorum) is located inside a cave-like structure. The temple stands tall, and devotees need to climb more than 450 steep steps to reach the moolasthanam (main shrine).
Lord Murugan is beautifully sculpted alongside His consorts, Deivayanai and Valli. It is believed that this is the very place where Goddess Valli was born and lived, and where Lord Murugan came to this hill forest to marry her.
The poojas are performed in Tamil with great devotion and sincerity by the priests, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. You will also see many locals visiting this temple regularly, adding to its cultural and traditional charm.
Generally, the temple is not very crowded, except on a few auspicious days dedicated to Lord Murugan, when devotees gather in large numbers for special poojas and celebrations.
Surrounded by a scenic and peaceful hill, this is a wonderful place to spend half a day away from the busy city life — to seek spiritual blessings, enjoy nature, and unwind in serenity."
