What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
This scenic road is a hit for its picturesque coconut trees and 'Dear Zindagi' movie fame, offering great photo opportunities. While beautiful, it can get extremely crowded, making private photos difficult. Visiting early morning or renting a bicycle can enhance the experience.
"I would say this is very nice place to visit for North Indians...Coz we South Indians wont feel anything about this place, since our areas had more coconut trees than this...According to an "Alappuzhakari " like me,I dont feel anything by this place...But just watched this place upon the hype of SRK & Alia bhat cycling story...
Seriously saying,it is very crowded...tooooo crowded...& cannot even took a pic of ourself...Every snap will be having someother people...But I saw some people getting into the field nearby, which was a good idea...There private snaps are possible...Please dont go there by viewing insta pics...coz it was all edited...you wont get a private space for snaps"

"Para Coconut Tree Road offers a decent experience for those looking to enjoy a scenic view surrounded by tall coconut trees and lush green fields. The road is well-known for its picturesque backdrop, making it a popular spot among tourists and photography enthusiasts. Paid parking is available nearby, which adds some convenience, although the area can get quite crowded with both people and vehicles moving around constantly.
For those interested in exploring the road differently, bicycles are available for rent, offering a more leisurely way to enjoy the surroundings. The coconut trees lining the road add a tropical charm, and the overall greenery gives a calming vibe despite the crowds. There’s also a small park nearby designed for photoshoots, but entry is chargeable. Since we weren’t keen on paying for a short visit, we skipped it. Still, the natural beauty of the place is enjoyable on its own.
While the crowd and commercialization may take away from the tranquility, it’s still a good spot for a quick visit, especially if you're in the area. It’s best to go during less busy hours to truly enjoy the peaceful side of Para Coconut Tree Road and capture some beautiful moments."

"Good place for photography with coconut trees on both side of the road. Parking is not allowed on the road so we have to park in pay parking area. Cycles can be taken on rent at the location for exciting photos. Best view is in evening but it's too much crowded at that time."

Photography Tips for Parra Coconut Tree Road
To truly capture the essence of the road, consider renting a bicycle. This not only allows you to cover more ground leisurely but also provides a fantastic prop for your photos, reminiscent of the scenes from 'Dear Zindagi'. Experiment with different angles, from low shots emphasizing the height of the trees to wider shots capturing the full sweep of the road. Don't forget to explore the nearby fields if the main road gets too crowded; they often offer a more private and equally beautiful setting for your photos.
While the road itself is free to access, there's a small park nearby that charges a nominal fee for entry and photoshoots. If you're looking for a more curated backdrop or a guaranteed private space, this could be an option. Navigating Crowds and Parking
To combat the crowds, early morning visits are highly recommended. Parking is another aspect to manage. Parking directly on the road is strictly prohibited and can lead to fines. There are designated paid parking areas at both ends of the road. Be vigilant about potential parking scams, where attendants might overcharge or lack proper identification. It's advisable to confirm the price and check the attendant's ID before paying.
