"The most relaxing place in Rameswaram area. But this is good only in cloudy seasons.
Kurusadai island is an Old marine Research centre and Labs. This was build during the British govt. Now all the labs and buildings were damaged. but we can see the types of fished and fish bones here. At the end of island, We can see the coral rocks inside the ocean which helped to prevent the city during the tsunami.
How can we reach this island:
If you are travelling by bus, then from Rameshwaram Bus stand to Vivekanandhar museum, you can take Share auto.
If you are travelling by own vehicle, then you can search for Vivekanandhar Museum or Kundhukal Dock.
After you have to pay ₹300 per head for boating to the island.
Once you reached the island, you have 1hr time to spend inside the island. A guide will explore all things inside the area.
