What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the National Science Centre for its highly interactive and educational exhibits that make science fun for all ages. The affordability and accessibility are also major plus points. However, some exhibits could benefit from modernization, and the cafeteria's offerings are considered average. Crowds on weekends can be significant, and show tickets sell out quickly.
"National Science Centre was beyond expectations. A thorough knowledge Centre can be its synonym. We went with kids on Sunday (20/07/25) and we had a very good time enjoying the fun filled activities in between. Unfortunately the tickets for scientific shows were sold out for the day by afternoon itself but we took the entry ticket of Rs 80 per person (kids above 3.5 ft. will be charged) and got to experience the knowledge hub and my personal favorites were the nuclear fusion, the Harrapan culture and the human evolution. School kids should be encouraged to visit this place at least once a year to brush up their knowledge. There is a cafeteria situated in the ground floor, but the items which we had were just and just ok. One can get dosa, samosas, chole bature, sandwiches, burgers, chai, coffee, cool drinks, ice creams etc. Rates were nominal."

"The National Science Centre in Delhi is a delightful destination for families, students, and science enthusiasts. The interactive exhibits are a highlight, engaging visitors with hands-on experiments that make complex concepts like physics and biology accessible and fun. The galleries, especially the ones on space and technology, are well-designed and spark curiosity across all age groups. The planetarium show is a treat, offering a captivating journey through the cosmos, and the outdoor exhibits, like the dinosaur models, add a playful touch.
The staff is generally helpful, and the facility is clean and well-organized. However, the centre could improve in a few areas. Some exhibits feel dated and could use modern upgrades to stay relevant. The crowds, especially on weekends, can make it feel cramped, and wait times for certain activities can be long. Food options in the cafeteria are also limited and overpriced.
Overall, the National Science Centre is a fantastic spot for an educational outing, blending learning with entertainment. It’s not perfect, but it’s well worth a visit, earning a solid four stars for its engaging experience and potential for improvement."
