"Se Cathedral in Old Goa is one of the most impressive and historically significant churches in India. As the largest church in Asia, it stands as a powerful symbol of Portuguese colonial influence and Christian heritage in the region.
The architecture is stunning—built in the Portuguese Manueline style with Tuscan exterior and Corinthian interiors, it's both majestic and serene. The church's sheer size is breathtaking, and the detailed carvings, altars, and the gilded interiors leave a lasting impression. The main altar, dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, is particularly striking with its ornate gold work and beautiful paintings.
Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply someone seeking a quiet moment of reflection, Se Cathedral offers a memorable experience. It beautifully blends spiritual atmosphere with cultural and historical richness."

"I am happy to visit this place. Took entry from gate number 1. The security man at gate was very kind in nature, good speaking.
And the church was very good from inside like movies shots.
We can visit only ground floor."

"The Redemption Catherdral also known as the Viceroy Church is located close to Rastrapathi Bhavan, the present residence of the President of India. It was designed by Henry Medd and constructed between 1927 to 1931.
The Catheral stands majestically in the centre of the plot with a lush green lawn in its frontage.
The high dome like ceiling inside is meant to maintain the temperatures according to the seasons.
It's very interesting to see that there is no pillar support in the building and the Altar has a beautiful stain glass picture of Mother Mary with baby Jesus and on the top of the frame are the statutes of Christ's crucifixion and at either sides of his Mother and favourite disciple.
Attended this church today on a very special occasion after 40 long years. A must see when you are in our capital city."
