Reviews Summary

Visitors find Raja's Tomb a peaceful and historically interesting site with beautiful architecture and scenic views of Madikeri. While the grounds are lovely, some note that only one tomb is accessible and exterior upkeep could be improved. It's considered a worthwhile, quick stop for its historical significance and tranquil atmosphere.

"Decent location to roam.

3 buildings are present where only one is open.

Remaining two are closed and not for public.

Lush greenary and good for walking and clicking pictures.

10rs per head ticket needs to be brought.

Parking is present outside, however you might not find space if you have too much crowd and you have to part 100-200 meters in the other side road."

Gautam R

"Visited Raja’s Tomb during our trip to Coorg in June, on a weekend. The place has a quiet, slightly eerie charm. The historical structures are well-maintained on the inside, though the exteriors could use some upkeep. The garden layout is beautiful, but overgrown with weeds in some areas and would benefit from better maintenance.

The property is spacious, with three main structures at the center surrounded by a large garden. However, only one of the tombs is accessible, two are sealed, so the visit is fairly quick, taking about 10 minutes to walk around.

There’s a small entry fee of Rs. 10 per person. No designated parking is available, but you can park on the nearby street without any trouble.

A brief yet interesting stop for those exploring Coorg."

Rutuja

"incredibly tranquil location. A small group of people. Three structures. There's hardly much to see inside. However, those who enjoy photography and architecture can examine the designs and structures. Additionally, try your hand at photography. The entire process takes no more than half an hour."
