"During our visit to the Mall of Dehradun, we made a short stop at Lachhiwala Nature Park. After buying entry tickets, we drove our vehicle inside. After a ride of about 1 km, we reached Lachhiwala, a nature park and water body. The crowd was quite large, enjoying the thrill of the flowing water around them. Various pools were created along a long stretch of flowing water, ensuring the water remains fresh and cool. Although there are a few changing rooms, their number should be increased given the crowd size.
It also has a large park featuring amusing statues and archways made from creepers. However, it needs regular maintenance, especially frequent grass cutting, to maintain a lush green appearance.
There is a museum with an appealing design, showcasing interesting objects that highlight Uttarakhand’s culture and flora. I learned that Uttarakhand’s staple food, "rajma," has over a hundred varieties. Until then, I only knew about red and white rajma!
