"This is a night scene of Gomti ghat, this looks like a totally different as you can see morning view with full flown of water which are posted by many reviewers. This is called high-low tide effects.
In the very early morning, high tide is in effect and due to this reason, sea water is uplifted towards river delta point and river looks like full of water and Gomti ghat looks very stunning. Gradually, in day time sea water level is down due low tide and river delta point looks like there is no water in the river and Gomti ghats become waterless specially near ghats.
Experience this in the morning and evening everyday."

"A peaceful and sacred riverside where the Gomti River meets the Arabian Sea. Devotees take holy dips before visiting Dwarkadhish Temple. The views during sunrise and sunset are truly calming, especially near Sudama Setu.
You’ll find local vendors selling seashells, snacks, and souvenirs. It's a nice place to sit, feed fish, and soak in the divine atmosphere.
However, it can get a bit crowded and the area isn’t always the cleanest. Be cautious near the water—tides can be strong.
Overall: A must-visit if you're in Dwarka for spiritual or cultural reasons.

The Mythology and Significance of Gomti Ghat
The confluence where the Gomti River meets the Arabian Sea is a particularly sacred spot, known as Sangam Ghat. Here, pujaris offer various rituals, including pind daan (ancestral rites) and asthi visarjan (immersion of ashes). The ghat is also a place where devotees light diyas and feed fish, adding to the serene and devotional atmosphere. The experience is deeply spiritual, connecting visitors to ancient traditions and beliefs.
Historically, Gomti Ghat was also a point for boat travel, connecting different parts of Dwarka. While these boat services are not as common now, the ghat retains its charm and purity as a vital spiritual center for pilgrims and visitors alike.
Sudama Setu: A Modern Landmark with Scenic Views
This bridge has quickly become a favorite spot for photographers and tourists looking for scenic vistas. The aerial views captured from Sudama Setu are particularly striking, showcasing the vastness of the sea and the flow of the river. It's an excellent location for capturing memorable photos of Dwarka's coastline and its spiritual landmarks.
While its architectural significance is notable, Sudama Setu's true value is in enhancing the visitor experience by providing accessible viewpoints. It allows people to easily access different parts of the riverbank and enjoy the scenery without the need for specialized tours. The bridge is a testament to how modern infrastructure can complement and enhance the appreciation of natural and cultural heritage.
Understanding Dwarka's Tides: High vs. Low
As the day progresses, low tide sets in. During low tide, the sea water recedes, revealing more of the riverbed and the ghat steps. The river delta might appear less full, and the ghats become more exposed. While this might seem less dramatic than the high tide, it offers a different perspective and allows for easier access to the steps for rituals or simply to sit and observe.
Understanding these tidal effects is key to planning your visit. Experiencing both high and low tide can offer a fuller appreciation of Gomti Ghat's dynamic nature. Early mornings are often recommended for the most picturesque high-tide views, while evenings can offer a serene sunset experience regardless of the tide level.
