"Wah Kaba Falls in Cherrapunji-Sohra is a beautiful seasonal waterfall, best visited during the rainy season. There is a large parking lot when visitors arrive. It has a special brick monument with a Rooster on top, which is a holy symbol for the local Seng Khasi people and a popular photo spot. The walk to the falls is on a non-slippery stone path, even in the rain. As one goes down, stunning views of green hills appear. The area has several waterfalls, some with beautiful cascading flows and another that plunges from a great height, making a soothing sound.
A unique feature of Wah Kaba is being able to walk to the top of the main waterfall and look down. There are sturdy railings making it safe for visitors. The entire area is very clean and well-kept, preserving its natural beauty. Even if it is raining, the scenery can still be enjoyed with an umbrella.
