"Best trekking spot in wayanad and suitable for beginners. The trek is around 3Km and visitors are allowed to until heart shaped lake not to chembra peak which is highes point in wayanad due to safety concerns. Only 288 people are allowed per day. Please plan to reach this spot early in morning to get tickets especially on weekends. We reached this spot by 4.30am and got ticket. For a group of 5 people 4000 is the ticket price. Steel water bottles will be provided once you make payment for the ticket. And few shops are down there to have ur small breakfast. The chembra is known for the very famous heart shaped lake on top and breathtaking 360 view and challenging treks."
