"This is a historical place dating back to 16th century AD as per the information board and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. A nice garden has been developed around this site. The garden was clean & lush green, which further beautified the site. There were monkeys hovering around but did not disturb us.
The step well looked beautiful. We did not go till the end of the steps where we could touch water as it was deep, the water was green & dirty & there could be obnoxious gases and the steps could be loose or slippery. Furthermore, there was no one to guide about the stepwell.
Our group was the only people present & we enjoyed the serenity & greenery of the place along with the beautiful helical structure of the well.
As this place seems to have few visitors, as I gathered, can be avoided if one is not an enthusiast of historical places or is short of time as this is the only structure available at that spot."
