""Berijam lake trip" => Silent valley view point->caps fly view point->berijam lake view point-> mathiketten sholai->berijam lake. All these are inside the forest where you cannot go on your own. You can take a forest trip via forest department canter vehicle( 20 seater). Ticket per person rs 250/-. Trip duration approx 2 hrs. Trip starts from Moir point. Sufficient parking space at Moir point to park your vehicle. Be there by 0930 am to catch a first trip. No online booking. Tickets will be issued inside the vehicle. Trip starts only after all seats are full. Second option is, you can take your own vehicle after obtaining prior permission from forest dept, located in kodaikanal. Forest trip is worth taking."

"Best place for nature lovers. It was best part of my Kodai visit. It is part of the reserve forest and requires permit to enter, private cars are not allowed inside.
You can park your car near the entrance at Moir Point and take forest jeep to reach the lake which is around 10km inside for around Rs.300. Also you can ask your hotel or taxi company for forest tour package which will cost around Rs.3000 to and from your hotel."
