What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri is lauded for its beautiful architecture and stunning panoramic views of Alwar city, offering a significant historical experience. However, some visitors note that the site's upkeep could be improved, with occasional issues regarding cleanliness and maintenance of the memorial tank. Despite this, its vibrant local atmosphere and historical importance make it a worthwhile visit.
"Very beautiful location. This was build as a memorial for the Queen. It is located near the alwar museum. You can view the whole Alwar city from here."

"It's a great place of historical significance and part of Alwar heritage however it is not well maintained. The place is filled with garbage, people can be seen littering around with plastic waste all around. The pond structure itself is full of plastic waste with algae growing up. The structure itself is located at a height and has a great skyline view of the city. I hope the Rajasthan tourism takes some steps to save this structure.
And we also found a Nilgai looking for food in plastic waste during our visit."

"Not great upkeep by the state but it's a vibrant space used by locals, playing praying feeding and making it worthwhile. As with many similar settings, there are temples and local fauna (we saw many deer from the hills and fish in the tank and camels as it's rajasthan, and stray dogs and cows being venerated). Some local temple fairs were expected to enliven the ghat road to Bala Qila and we saw preparations underway for a small carousel and giant wheel etc. I say, it's worth your time to visit."
