"Very peaceful, beautiful and an important place in the film history perspective. Better to visit in monsoon or the winter season, else the scorching sun will not allow your sense of relaxation to exist. Tender coconut is a bit costly, wondered why the land of coconut has become like this. There are other places better than this nearby. Need atleast two days to completely experience this out."

I love this place for its serene and nature-bound atmosphere. The dam offers a fantastic view of Valparai and other mountains.
Don't miss the stunning view from atop the dam. Be sure to walk the full length to witness more scenic views of the bridge, the flowing water, and the surrounding mountains. The entire area seems to be covered with coconut trees.
The small entry fee is well worth it to enjoy the beauty of the place. It's especially beautiful to visit on non-summer days. You'll find many small eateries outside the dam.
This is a place you shouldn't miss when you're in Pollachi."
