The circular area around the lake is a promenade with various entertainment options. . A lakefront is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities.
The Lakefront is revamped during 2007-08.
There are a lot of entertainment activities you can enjoy.
There are different stories against the naming of the lake, but whatever it is the name Kankaria is related to Hazrat- i- Shah Alam.
Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden or Kankaria Zoo is a prominent place of attraction indeed.
