"Railway station is about 10 minutes walk from the historic centre of the town. It has a selection of ticket machines, ticket sellers and free clean toilets. From here you can get a semi fast double decker tram back to Budapest. Really good trains."
Andrew Long
"It was nice to visit a town which was not as busy as Budapest. It is very accessible and built on a very flat area. Somewhat quieter than normal when I was there, but there is a local open air market. I presume on opening days it will be very busy. A very historical place which has seen times of foreign occupation over many centuries. Some delightful architecture and there are a few old churches well worth a visit. The momento mori in the small museum is a must see. Some nice cafe/bars with very helpful staff. Like most places in Hungary these cafes sell the most wonderful cakes. Do yourself a favour and escape from the city to visit here for a few hours. Frequent train service from Budapest."
