Reviews Summary

Pécs is generally appreciated for its renovated train station, cleanliness, and helpful staff, though some visitors have experienced delays and encountered issues with photography restrictions. The city itself is noted for its rich history and cultural attractions, with a few suggestions for improved amenities at the station.

"It’s a small train station. But well connected to the every part of Hungary. It’s nice & clean station. Automatic ticket machine in many languages. Ticket window as well who speak English. Locker facilities, waiting room with enough siting place. Small supermarket. Coffee machine. Bus station & taxi station is just out side."

Nomade Musafir

"The station is super dirty, barely any staff and we had to wait 1 HOUR for the train to depart. I even heard someone missed their flight because of this! How outrageous!"

Dyno

"The station is very nice. In fact so nice I wanted to take a photo of it. However, a worker screamed at me very aggressively, telling me not to take a photo. I accept laws - if photography is prohibited, I am fine with that, even though it's a weird, childish and useless rule. However, if I (as a tourist) don't know that photography is prohibited, the staff could at least tell me that in a normal tone, without curse words or threats to violent acts.

I deleted the photos I was told to delete, but I still don't want to hesitate to share a picture that apparently didn't bother anyone - Just because it's nice."
