Reviews Summary
Rácskert is celebrated for its quintessential ruin bar atmosphere and lively, open-air setting, making it a popular spot for young, trendy crowds. While the drink prices are decent, some visitors note inconsistent cocktail quality and small, overpriced food portions from the onsite trucks. The venue's open-air nature means smoking is permitted throughout.
"They have trivia night here ☺️ also the food truck has surprisingly good burgers tho the portion size is small and quite overpriced 🍔"

"Great idea to make an open-air food court with different points with food! You can grab the food and drink at any cafe you want and then just sit outside. The place is very lively and cool, however, the staff is very ignorant and not friendly. Also, the food isn't fresh at all the cafes situated there. I really liked Las Vegans' point! Recommended!"

"A local ruin bar in Budapest which they are quite famous for! This bar is set away from the nearest busy street (Kazinczy u.) but is a 5 minute walk from there.
Ruin bars are generally have open roofs with sheltered areas so you can be open to the elements depending on where you're sat, but it does feel like you're sat indoors! However, we had no issues - there is a massive selection of drinks available and the prices are decent.
The environment can be quite noisy if it is busy but there is lots of space to be sat around.
TIP: As it is open, you can smoke/vape throughout the whole place, for some this may not be ideal."

Culinary Delights and Drinks
Despite these concerns, specific vendors like 'Las Vegans' have received positive mentions, highlighting the potential for good food even within the food truck model. The ability to grab food from one vendor and drinks from another and then sit together in the open-air space is a key feature of the Rácskert experience.
When it comes to drinks, Rácskert generally offers decent prices compared to other bars in the city. However, it's worth noting that the quality of specific cocktails can be inconsistent, with some patrons reporting poorly made drinks.
