What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Hungarian Parliament Building's stunning architecture and historical significance, with many calling the interior tour a must-do. The illuminated exterior at night, especially viewed from a river cruise, is a frequently cited highlight. Some find the tour booking process a bit rigid, and occasional crowding can detract from the experience.
"Very beautifully ornate building. You can see the very nice gothic facade and can appreciate the details. It is a little hard to see the entire building from close by so to appreciate the magnitude you need to go far away. However the site around is good and you can appreciate the build while walking by the river. Don’t get too distracted by the structure while walking though as the river doesn’t have any barrier. Need to be careful around here with little ones."

"The sheer size of the building while standing outside is breathtaking. This beautiful building is a must see in Budapest. There is a 50 min guided tour that is well worth the price. Book in advance online and remember to print tickets. There are stairs on the tour but the friendly staff kindly offer an elevator for those who need it. We went with a large one child stroller with ease."
