"My wife and I have stayed in many hotels over the years all over Europe and America. This is one of the best. The hotel is located at Oktogon, a beautiful upper class part of Budapest and a brilliant location, every main attraction is within a 20 minute walk, or there are plenty of buses/trams and the metro outside the hotel. From the moment you arrive gazing at the grand architecture you are met with a lovely scent that can only be described as summer! (This is a secret combination of scents created for the hotel!). The reception area is grandeur at its finest as the hotel was built as a palace by two Hungarian families. The reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful for both hotel information and local attractions/restaurants. The rooms are individually coloured, green/blue/red that is accented by the fittings. Very comfortable bed, double windows and blackout blinds. The hotel can supply most forgotten items and are always happy to help. The most recommended hotel we've had the pleasure to stay at in one of the most beautiful cities!"

"Great hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Free tea, coffee and drinking water available all day. Good gym and sauna in the basement. We stayed in a superior double which faced out onto the street. Noise wasn't a problem as very well insulated windows. Room was a little compact in terms of size but very high ceilings meant it still felt very airy and spacious. A great place to base yourself when exploring Budapest as right on the edge of the Jewish Quarter and close to all the main sights."
