Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the stunning architecture and breathtaking panoramic views from the Castle District, particularly from Fisherman's Bastion. The historical ambiance and the charm of Matthias Church are frequently highlighted as major draws. However, some find the crowds can be overwhelming during peak times, and the prices for food and attractions can be on the higher side.

"This area is beautiful, it's definitely a fully days event may even be 2 days depending on everything available to see. If you plan on going into the castle then plan 2 days, there is so much to see and enjoy, lots of great restaurants and cafés all over, so many historical buildings, statues and sites. My suggestion is to use the castle area bus to get around and do a round trip to plan what you want to see, then get off at the stops you are interested in. This is a must see in Budapest so please don't miss it."

"The Buda Castle district of Budapest has its own charm. It is probably the most picturesque part of the city centre. From here you have views of the Danube as well as other parts of the city. You will find the Fishermen’s Bastion here which is a must visit. There are various attractions up here and meandering through the streets is also nice. The ice cream sold up here is also very tasty.
You can get public transport (bus) to here and they run till late in the night."

"This is a place where you can feel the history of Hungary! The building, all galeries and surrounding areas are facinating and very bueautiful. The staff is very kind. The Buda castle is not so interesting for small kids, but the adults can have great time."
