Rooms where a bit dated, not much but just needs a slight facelift i.e. the apartment rooms contains an old school microwave, decor needs a uplift but otherwise very satisfied. Rooms are very spacious and temp controlled.

"The price does not match the offer, especially during the winter season when the outdoor pools are closed. If you have children shorter than 130 cm, only one slide and one water chute are available. Other slides are only accessible from 130 cm or even 140 cm. Additionally, the waiting time for a single ride is ideally 10–15 minutes, but in worse cases up to 30 minutes. Other attractions are overcrowded because, besides hotel guests, people from outside also visit.
The children were quite bored. The age of the aquapark’s facilities is clearly visible… In the saunas, the staff watch movies and don’t seem to mind that people walk in from the non-nude area wearing swimsuits—and enter the saunas dressed like that.
The room was nice and spacious, but getting down by elevator during peak times was nearly impossible—even though there were three elevators available. I couldn’t even find the staircase. What bothered me most was ordering 200 ml of milk at dinner and being charged 617 HUF, which is the price of 2 liters of milk in a store. Moreover, on previous days, milk was free at dinner. Otherwise, for two beers and two soft drinks at dinner, you’ll pay around 5000 HUF. The food was good and the selection wasn’t bad. The staff were willing to help.
But if you're looking for a water park for children, I recommend Germany’s Tropical Island or the aquapark in Gdynia, Poland.
I recommend booking a different hotel and only visiting this one for a single day."

"It is a nice resort just outside Budapest. Below pros and cons:
+ you get free spa&pool access with the room
+ the thermal area is large and amusing
+ staff is helpful and professional
+ restaurant is ok and somehow reasonably priced
- location is pretty remote if you want to plan trips to downtown Budapest and there is not much to do in the vicinity
- saunas could use some supervision, somehow it's noisy and there are plenties of 1st time sauna visitors wearing swimsuits and clearly not knowing how to behave and use a sauna
= overall I think it's good value for money, especially for families"
