What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Budakeszi Wildlife Park for its family-friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to see native European animals in naturalistic enclosures. The children's zoo is a particular hit with younger guests. While generally well-regarded, some visitors note that certain areas could benefit from more frequent maintenance.
"Budakeszi Vadaspark is unfortunately a big disappointment. The whole place feels badly maintained and designed mainly as child bait. Every corner has a stall pushing cheap plastic toys, plushies, or souvenir coins, clearly aimed at pressuring parents.
The food situation is even worse. The restaurant serves meals that are low quality at best and not something I would want children eating. Tickets are overpriced too. At 4400 HUF, just 1000 less than the Budapest Zoo, it offers only a fraction of the experience. On top of that, the Dino Park costs another 4000 HUF just to see plastic statues.
We also attended an animal show where aside from showing three animals, the instructor went on about horrific shark attacks, mutilations, how much he hates cats, and even tips on killing them. Hardly what I would call child friendly.
Overall, not worth your time or money."

"Bring your kids. It's a small zoo but the experience is great for young kids. You can feed some animals which adds an extta bonus to the experience. The dinosaur section is also good to visit."
Jonathan Fernandes
"The adventure park is great! The wildlife park is nice but just common animals: pork, deer, sheep, beef! The only minus I see was missing water to buy"
