Visitors praise Tung Lung Chau for its natural beauty, offering a refreshing escape with opportunities for camping, hiking, and swimming. The island provides a serene environment with the soothing sound of waves, making it a great spot to get away from the city. However, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, and the need to bring all your own supplies, including drinking water.

"You need to take a boat to the island. I board from Yau Tong. Round ticket is about hkd45 and you need to buy using octopus card as they use the card number as identification. And it only open on weekend and public holiday. There are few shop on the island, so you could buy necessity or just dine there. Camp site has toilet and running water, not safe for drinking though. Few barbeque site, on first come first serve. Could be crowded or very crowded. So come early. Don throw your rubbish in the bin. Hang on tree and take it with you when you leave. There are wild board that will come at night to ravage the bin. All in all, if you don mind the crowd, it's a nice camping site."
