What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Tsing Yi Promenade for its stunning, unobstructed views of the Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour, making it a prime spot for photography, especially at sunset and night. The ample green spaces and well-maintained playgrounds are also highlighted as great features for families and relaxation. Some note that dining options are limited directly on the promenade, requiring a trip to nearby malls.
"Nice place to walk lovely scenery across the promenade. Very relaxing and great for runners too.
There is a really cool section for the older people to exercise and even specific cobbled floor for barefoot walking to stimulate the meridians which I thought was genius.
The bikes on the promenade actually can help charge your mobile phone as you pedal amazing!
All.in all a nice place to visit."

"It is a 3km stretch of waterfront promenade, joining few parks in between, in north east Tsing Yi island. Good for jogging and leisure walk. For photos, there are good spots for sunset if you walk all the way to the northern (slightly westward) end where bridges and yachts can be spotted from a distance. Beware of, however, foul air caused by occasional northerly smog in the winter and the blazing sun in the summer."

"This Tsing yi Island is situated in between the Kowloon Peninsula and the Lan Tau island. At the North-Eastern corner is this Tsing Yi Promenade.
This Promenade is not easily accessible by public transport so it is basically for the enjoyment of local islanders. At the back of it are major luxury apartments, including a shopping Mall "Maritime Square" and the ESF Kindergarten.
The promenade is well built and spacious but the surroundings are not attractive as it is the vertical section of two major bridges such as the MTR railway running at the North and South of the promenade, with the views of a busy commercial Rambler Channel and Kwai Chung Cargoes Terminal.
It is a good place for relaxing / and exercises for local residents.
Some were seen fishing at the piers extending from the Promenade . At it's back is the Tsing Yi Garden."
