Reviews Summary

Sheung Wan Market is praised for its authentic local atmosphere, delicious and affordable food court with huge portions, and vibrant energy. Visitors appreciate the no-nonsense service and the chance to experience Hong Kong culture. However, some find the environment noisy and not pristine, and prices for individual dishes can add up.

"Lovely place, great location to experience local culture and Hong Kong food. As a tourist, definitely recommend visiting the market’s food court after breakfast rush. By 9AM, the food court was very empty. Note that because it is after the breakfast rush, several stalls are closed or prepping for lunch hour. Unlike some reviews, service was prompt and direct. No nonsense customer service. Breakfast portion was HUGE! Definitely recommend sharing two plates PLUS a side for two people. It was very cost effective too: 2 coffees, breakfast combo, sandwich, and French toast for a value of about $110 HKD. Bonus points if you set next to Chow Yun Fat’s selfie!"
