What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Shari Shari is celebrated for its exceptionally fine, melt-in-your-mouth kakigori, with unique and well-executed flavors like matcha and hojicha being standout favorites. While the quality is consistently praised and considered worth the price, visitors should be prepared for potential queues and the common cash-only payment policy at many branches.
"Cash only. Queuing depends on timing. We arrived at 3PM ish and waited about 20min to got seated but once we finished eating there’s no queue outside.
✔️ Moichi Matcha - One of their recommended menu items. The shaved ice has a very refreshing texture, and surprisingly, the matcha flavor is strong enough, so I enjoyed it pretty much as a matcha lover. It contains caramel ice inside, and it's not overly sweet, so you can easily finish the whole bowl. Just need to note that it melts easily, so you need to eat it quickly."

"This is hands-down the best kakigori I’ve ever had! The quality of the ice is exceptional, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s truly unmatched.
They offer a wide variety of flavors, so there’s something for everyone, and their seasonal specials are always a treat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the mint chocolate🍫, matcha🍵, hojicha🤎, and the tiramisu☕️ flavors for a classic experience. If they have black sesame or tofu on the menu, don’t hesitate to try them—they’re absolutely divine!
The price is very reasonable for the outstanding quality. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Visited their branch in Causeway Bay with my friends for their Kakigori after dinner, since one of them had a coupon for it.
.
We ordered the Hojicha & Matcha Kakigori and the Black White Angel Kakigori.
The Hojicha & Matcha Kakigori included hojicha syrup, matcha syrup, matcha foam, cookie and Shiratama mochi. Topped with a dense layer of matcha espuma, the dessert was filled with cookie and chewy Shiratama mochi, blending well with the hojicha syrup and matcha syrup to create a refreshing taste.
The Black White Angel Kakigori consisted of vanilla syrup, whipped cream and oreo. Topped with light whipped cream, the dessert was generously filled with oreo, adding more complexities. The intense vanilla flavour made the dessert milky and enjoyable.
.
The dessert shop is always immensely popular with long queues. Its Causeway Bay branch is relatively small, so customers may experience longer waiting time. Cash payment is the only accepted method at their Causeway Bay branch, and payment is required immediately after ordering."
