"a very nice beach, with soft sand"
Lid Murmur
"Start of the hiking trail to Sai Wan beach. Approximately 30-40 mins of mostly downhill trek to reach. This rating is solely for the pavilion.
Very inaccessible place that can only be reached by bus 29R from Sai Kung in-front of McDonald’s. If not, you need to take a taxi. This is because the road here is very narrow and up in the mountains. and accident could happen anytime if the driver is not careful.
There are taxis here in the afternoon but during the night about 5-6pm, no more taxi left as it’s very hard to drive in the dark. Suggest you to leave early before 5, or take the speed boat back to Sai Kung. Plan ahead as you will have to hike back to the pavilion from the beach or wherever."

"Best place to hike and camp to see the sunset and sunrise!
My recommended route it to get a taxi to the pavilion because there is no buses that go there. And then when you plan to back to the pier from the beach, I’d definitely recommend getting the speed boat. We got the speed around 6/7pm and there wasn’t many of us and we had to pay a bit extra to call the boat so do get it early. Our journey back was a bit bumpy because of the tides but it was one hella fun ride! Legit so fun! Defo going back again if I have the chance again."
