Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Sai Kung's charming harbor, fresh seafood, and accessible island hopping. It's praised as a relaxing escape from the city, offering a laid-back vibe and beautiful waterfront views. Some find the ferry schedules a bit inconvenient, and seafood can be pricey, but overall, it's considered a must-visit gem.

"Very nice for a first visit. Side of HK that is not available else where, while most product are on basket in boats, I did see a high net alongside boat full of rabbit fish.

Also overhead and saw prices on boat. Way cheaper then resturant prices, if you are bring it home it would be great, or if you can find a good restaurant that do not overcharge for processing the fresh seafood.

Highly recommend for the sigh and experience. There are also various trips to outlying islands."

Peter C

"One of the fishing villages in Hong Kong that is quite crowded with visitors. There are many sea food restaurants in this place.

In addition, turtles can travel around the islands around the port by riding a traditional boat. The fare is also quite cheap for round trip fare.
So be smart to bargain for the fare on the boat. You will be taken to the island you want to go to, then given a time when you will be picked up again."

"Sai Kung Pier doesn’t have much to see but gives good vibes on a few hidden gems in HK. Old seafood boats like this, people walking their dogs. It’s a nice place to chill and have some good food, to relax and have a walk with friends."

Popular destinations include Sharp Island (Kiu Tsui Chau), known for its unique tombolo, and the Ninepin Islands (Kwo Chau), famous for their geological formations. For those seeking more secluded spots, a day trip to Tai Long Wan is highly recommended, though it can also be reached via hiking. TikTokInstagram
