"My friends and I stopped by Milk Cafe for lunch during our trip to Hong Kong, and it ended up being a great choice. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, making it a nice break from the busier parts of the city.
The food was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying—perfect for a midday meal. Whether you’re traveling with friends or exploring solo, it’s a solid spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy something tasty.
A reliable and enjoyable lunch stop—Milk Cafe is Helwa Approved."

"One of my favourite cha chaan tengs. Great food options, everything is really tasty and reasonably priced and the interiors have a fun milk-themed design. They have an easy to use QR-code menu/ordering option which has an English menu too which is a bonus."

"Came here for brunch just before 11:30am and there was a small queue already. Got seated about 10 minutes wait. Easy ordering by scanning the QR code. The egg tasted so good and creamy with the brioche loaf, definitely recommend this. I also had the wings and noodles, nothing special but also not a bad dish, a standard noodle dish. I did add the roasted corn, OMG this tasted so nice! I hadn't had it cooked like that before and chopped up, so worth a try! On the way out I ordered a hokkaido ice cream to go, this was very smooth and tasty! They had the bakery as well near the door but I was too full to try any of it, but will try next time as they did look very yummy!"

The Milk Cafe Experience: Beyond the Hype
Beyond the main dishes, certain items have become cult favorites. The banana bread, in particular, is frequently mentioned as a standout treat that lingers in memory. For those looking for a sweet takeaway, the Hokkaido ice cream is praised for its smooth texture and delightful taste. However, it's worth noting that some reviews suggest a decline in quality for certain items, like the cheese pineapple bread, over time.
The operational side of Milk Cafe also warrants attention. Ordering is primarily self-service via QR code, which includes an English menu, making it accessible for international visitors. Despite the self-service aspect, staff are reported to be responsive when assistance is needed. However, some patrons have observed that the cafe can feel understaffed during busy periods, leading to uncleared tables and a less serene environment.
Navigating the Menu: What to Order
For those who enjoy savory options, the eggs with brioche loaf are a popular choice, described as creamy and satisfying. The roasted corn, prepared in a unique way, has also received rave reviews for its taste and texture. While the main dishes are the stars, don't overlook the Hokkaido ice cream for dessert or a takeaway treat; it's noted for its smoothness and flavor. Some reviews mention standard noodle dishes and wings, which are considered decent but not necessarily exceptional.
It's worth noting that while many dishes are well-loved, some patrons have observed a dip in quality for certain items over time, such as the cheese pineapple bread. Coffee reviews are also varied, with some finding it too bitter. Therefore, focusing on the consistently praised items like the hash browns and baked goods is often a safe bet for a satisfying experience.
