Reviews Summary

Mee & Gee offers an incredible selection of affordable, high-quality clothing, with many shoppers praising the vintage finds and natural fiber garments. However, the overwhelming nature of the store, lack of changing rooms, and occasional rude staff can detract from the experience for some. It's a treasure trove for patient bargain hunters.

"I have found one of the most amazing selection of silk ties here, mostly made in Italy or Japan. I have found custom made altered shirts of high quality as well. The upper section is a heaven for mens as they had an amazing collection of tweed jackets and wool jumpers, sweaters. The staff was very helpful as well. I admit the selection of clothes looks overwhelming at first, and you will need at least an hour to look through everything, but if you take the time you will find extremely good quality clothes here made from real, natural fibres."

"There were beautiful clothes throughout all the shops, though there was one specific staff member that was a bit rude. I went here with my friend to thrift, and we both are teenagers. The clothes that caught my eye here are cheap and affordable, while also being good quality. When we were browsing in a specific $60 clothes section, one of the slightly older staff came over to us, and snatched the clothes we picked out from our hands. She said: “These clothes are 60 dollars, not 5.” Then, she returned the clothes to where we found them. Me and my friend believed this is because she assumed that we couldn’t afford the $60 clothes. Apart from the bad experience, overall quality of the clothes is great, and they are beautiful."

"I’ve come here a few times to get vintage flared pants of different colours that come from Japan. The prices are reasonable, I wouldn’t say they’re super cheap despite it being a thrift shop because the prices are based more on the original brand and it’s design which is why flared pants tend to be a bit pricier since it’s not in style as it used to be in the 70s or 80s (around HKD 200). You’ll have to dig around a lot because there’s just a whole lot of options on both floors so expect to have a mini arm workout from having to tussle around the clothes. Additionally, I would suggest wearing something very skin tight when you visit so that you can try on the clothes then and there to see if it fits you because there are no changing rooms there! Most of the staff speak English and they also accept credit, debit and octopus card payment if you don’t have cash !"
